About Noah Schaffer
I've been taking pictures for over twenty years, and over the past ten years, I've been building my portfolio and honing my skills. I love taking pictures of people and capturing them at their best. Whether I'm taking portraits, memorializing important events, or helping people create memories of milestones, people are always my favorite subjects (although my rescue dogs, Neville and Luna, are a close second!).
Meeting new people is the best part of what I do, and I always have fun working with people to get the shot they are looking for. Shooting on location allows the setting to be part of the story, so I'm open to getting outside and using natural light. Sometimes, though, a backdrop and some photo props can craft a different narrative, and those are always fun, too. Creating a set that allows people to relax and be themselves leads to the best photos.
I've taken many photography seminars and classes over the years to develop specific skills. I'm a member of the Ocean County Camera Club for the past several years, and I'm finishing up my B.A. in photography.
When I'm not taking photos professionally, I spend time visiting the beach, hiking in national parks, and traveling with my wife.
